Flight Conditioned Northern Bobwhite Quail

All Northern Bobwhite Quail from South Texas Quail Farm are hatched here from our own stock on our 20 acre farm. This allows us to constantly improve our birds by selecting the hardest and fastest flying birds for breeding. STQ only supplies the top of the line flight birds and ensures all of our birds are in perfect health before leaving our facility.

All flight birds will be between 16 and 24 weeks old for optimum flight.

All STQ flight pens are 10' x 12' x 120' which allows for the birds to develop the proper flight muscles to ensure the birds are in top shape for hunting!  All flight pens are kept secluded and away from human activity.

This is the most important info on this whole website!!  I hear to many times of the stories of birds not flying after released.  My first question is always how where they put out?  Normally the response is "well we spin them around in a sack and them dump them out!" Well first of all this is not the way!!  We at STQ will do our part to make sure to train each one of our customers on how to release the quail so that you have the most wild experience possible with pen raised northern bobwhite quail.

I will tell you that all of our birds will fly if put out properly and allowed to have the proper time to settle into their new fields!

STQ will provide transport cages for a $50.00 deposit per cage.  We also offer delivery upon request.
